Citizen security observer
Standing watch to protect voters and poll workers from intimidation or threats.
Primary Role: Serve as a trained, authorized presence at polling places to observe and report any signs of voter suppression, harassment, or physical threats.
Coordination Required: Must apply through your local Clerk Recorder or Secretary of State to be officially designated. Some jurisdictions offer paid roles; others are volunteer based.
Duties May Include:
Monitoring for voter intimidation or interference
Reporting suspicious behavior to election officials or law enforcement
Supporting de-escalation efforts in coordination with poll workers
Important: This is not a self-deputized or vigilante role. Observers must follow all local laws and protocols.
