Cybersecurity Professionals: Digital Guardians of Democracy

This position must be coordinated with YOUR Secretary of State and/or Clerk Recorder.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vulnerability Assessments: Conduct penetration testing and forensic audits on voting machines and tabulators to detect tampering or malware.

• Network Monitoring: Ensure air-gapped systems remain isolated and monitor for unauthorized access attempts or data exfiltration.

• Firmware Verification: Validate that only certified software and firmware are installed, using hash checks and digital signatures.

• Incident Response: Develop rapid-response protocols in coordination with the Secretary of State and local clerks to contain and investigate breaches.
